She finished art school, got a degree, got a job, got a promotion, got a fancy condo… Then quit it all and started designing her own life. Now she runs international design studio Oddbee from her laptop and draws in her spare time.
The list of her former clients includes hundreds of brands that range from small businesses and startups to big names like eBay, Kijiji, Disney, Hasbro, Barbie, Lego, 500px, RBC, Chevy, Mattel and BMO.
Outside of work, Kat and her team runs Toronto chapter of Draw By Night - a collaborative drawing event that brings together designers, illustrators, students, and all sorts of art enthusiasts.
In 2017, she co-authored and published a book "Dating Vandalized", based on her social experiment of outsourcing online dating routine to a hired stranger. The experiment and the book has been covered by Toronto Star, Metro, Global News, and Buzzfeed. She was selected as City Mogul 2017 among Toronto most innovative and newsworthy entrepreneurs and influencers.
